Washi W 25 iso

Finally used my Washi and yes it must be used with delicate hands but I love love this simple raw medium. Careful loading yes it is touchy but the images (i overdid a few or they caught light in change bag) are pure magic and just my way of seeing through photography. I want more and more and more!!1

First impressions

Film arrived promptly.i had to trim about 2mm of long side for it to fit in dark slide.i rated it about 6 iso and used multigrade developer.. first shot the emulsion came off. The secret is keep temp of developer to about 65 degrees fans dilute 1:15 instead of 1:9.i added Gardner to fixer and the problem was solved.

good film but very hard to handling

First of all the film cannot fit in a standard 4x5 film holder.
Under a red light you need to cut about 1mm.
Maybe this kind of sheet film was intended for box pinhole camera, I don't know, but this is the first time I found a 4x5 film not able to fit in the 4x5 film holder.
The film is very delicate, and as said must be handled ONE sheet at time, ONLY in a tray with very gentle movements. Use your hands to lift the sheet from a tray to another, the paper could be very delicate. When dry, instead, the paper is quite strong.

At the moment I was not able to get any usable result, due to my errors in processing (I used the SP810 tray, but I did not so gentle agitation, so the sheet curled over itself).

Nothing but issues.

I bought this film to try something new. Every time I developed it, the emulsion would dissolve. I triple checked i did all the steps right. And even contacted the manufacturer. I would not recommend this film.
