Ilford Delta 3200 - 35mm Film

Our Price: £9.00 GBP

100136

Description

The definitive high-speed film to take with you to concerts, underground parties, and other night-time excursions. Delta is a modern emulsion from Ilford - created with finer grain to provide sharp black and white images with excellent contrast even in low light. While this means the 35mm film is slightly less forgiving of wide exposure latitudes, the professional results when you nail the exposure will blow you away!

Ilford was founded in 1879 in the English town of the same name. They are B&W royalty in the photography industry thanks to their 140-year heritage and their support for photographers with chemicals and development as well as film. In the mid-20th Century they produced several well-regarded camera lines (including one given to Princess Elizabeth that was later stolen!) but today they are focused on producing the best films and development processes that they can.

Beautiful grain & contrast

Good for low light situations where you want to be shooting handheld because of the 3200 speed.

Smooth and grainy at the same time

As the title suggests this film is very grainy but in a very pleasing way. The latitude is fantastic and is great in low light. One of my favourites.

Good fast film

I have never been a big fan of Ilford but because I am working on a project I thought I would order some and see if my view has changes. It has you can get some quire nice contrast out of the film. I developed it in ilford microphen and the grain was far less then I was expecting to be honest. Worth having a go with this film!

Experimental

This is a very experimental film compared to other Ilford films - originally with a box speed of 1000iso it can be pushed up to 12800iso with DDX or TMax developer. It produces the highest grain you could expect if developed in Rodinal (and that's the look i really love)
