Superb film

This a very nice film with great detail and good contrast. Provides some very nice blacks and works well with an orange filter to darken those blue skies.
Great for walk around street or urban photography.

Not only for Infrared...

A lot of us seem to use this film for its infrared capabilities, but it's also a great film shot straight!

One of my favourites

Another Rollei film I like to have in my stash. Good price, good results. Great contrast but not overpowering, and without losing a lovely range of grey tones. I used this film on a very grey and very wet day, at box speed, and I was really happy. I keep meaning to try it for its infra-red abilities but just like it for normal black and white use.

A characterful, creative film

I took a punt on this to try out IR photography (you have to use an IR filter for this film to work in IR, resulting in very long exposures) and it does work for that, but I think I got more interesting shots with orange and red (or no) filters. The 200 speed is versatile and the grain is quite soft and even. I feel that this film gives a very nice dynamic range and rarely seemed to blow out the whites or crush the blacks, while also being quite high-contrast. I'd buy it again, but I doubt I could be bothered to use it for IR! The shot in the woods with the sharp leaves in the foreground was an IR shot. The other samples are normal or with orange/red filters. No post processing other than straightening/crop.
