Fuji is one of the most famous Japanese global brands - and along with Eastman Kodak - dominated the film photography market for most of the 20th century. However the dawn of digital photography put significant strain on it's operations and it has restructured itself (and part-merged with Xerox) around a more diverse set of industries such as digital press, computer systems, and photocopying services. It's focus on traditional film has waned (giving rise to the nickname "FujiNOTfilm") - discontinuing several lines which has caused understandable upset among loyal users and planning to cut several more. However their creation and innovation of the Fuji Instax system (the most popular instant photography format today) means they will remain relevant to analogue photography for many years to come.

Great film for sunny outdoors

I actually like the film, and the colors it brings out. It didn not come out that sharp as I have expected it, might be due to the camera, but overall I would take it for a round to Berlin or any other semi-industrial city to see what happens

Surprised

Didn’t know what to expect with this one. I used it in some low light interiors, some with on camera flash some without and outside on an overcast day. And a brighter day. Being ISO 100 wasn’t sure I’d done the right thing but I was surprised and pleased. Colours are lovely, I don’t know how to describe them other than that they are why I started to reuse film, look at the sky colour to see what I mean. Other shot is inside with on camera flash, - picture of a birthday cake.

I have a second role waiting for a sunny day!

My new go to 35mm film

This film has good detail and I love the colours. I love to use it when I am just out for a wander and taking random photos. It works well for almost any shooting everything from architecture to people. I always keep a roll or two on me.

Great quality film especially for architecture

This film has good detail and the grain texture is nice, though probably on the larger side for a iso 100 film, but still no complaints. I think it's ideal for architectural shots and would probably work very well for landscapes. I think the color re-production is accurate. I really like the film - it's something you can't get hold of on the high street. Next time I buy it I will aim to shoot landscapes, i'll let you know how I get on.

nice aesthetic and easy to shoot

not the punchiest of films, with quite muted/washed out greens, but a nice easy film to shoot, especially as someone used to faster films. would be interested to see how far you could push the iso as it handled lower light better than i expected. really nice aesthetic to the photos overall.
