Our Price: £6.50 GBP100212
Kodak Pro Image 100 is a classic emulsion that has been around since 1997 but only ever in South America and Asia. But now it finally comes to Europe and North America! The most affordable 35mm within the Pro range, this film delivers great colours and is forgiving on underexposure. Most importantly, though, Kodak Pro Image 100 35mm film is particularly resistant to heat and humidity, which makes it the perfect film to take on adventurous trips. It is also sometimes known as Kodak Prolmage 100.

Kodak - properly known as Kodak Eastman - was founded in America in 1888 and dominated the "Western" world of photography for the next 100 years, constantly in fierce rivalry with the Japanese Fuji. Similarly to Fuji the advent of digital photography at the turn of the century caused significant financial problems. A late attempt to win in the compact market was hit by the rise of mobile photography and bankruptcy followed in 2012. Fortunately the photography business has survived under the Kodak Alaris name - based in Hertfordshire, England - and they have delighted the analogue industry by pledging continued support for film production and the promise of bringing back old favourite emulsions.

Seriously professional looking results with great definition; best to use on sunny days but can be used in dimmer situations for a fine grainy finish.
Here's my first shot from my first roll of Pro Image ever ;) Not the best, but the shadow and highlight details are both there!
This film has the speed and colors of a modern day slide film. Provides great realistic color and contrast. The 100 speed makes it amazing on sunny days and the golden hour.
Ordered a 5 pack of this, and took to Cornwall, leaving digital camera at home. Glad I did. Loved this film for its natural colour and subtle grain. Great all-rounder as happy with portraits as landscapes. Still to try Portra but with this at half the price, I may never get around to it!
I am a ColorPlus 200 fan and always have a few rolls in my stash, but to mix up my films a bit I decided to give Pro Image 100 a try. I'm glad I did. Pro Image was designed for hot and humid climates where film takes a real beating from the weather conditions. We don't get much hot weather here in the UK, but when we do, it has everyone heading for the beaches. This means I can happily shoot around town without any distractions. Pro Image 100 gives great colour rendition with fine grain that sits neatly between ColorPlus and Ektar in both price and quality. Whatever you ask of it, Pro Image 100 will handle it with aplomb.
