Great for photographic experiments! Tried this film in it's original form - as Kodak cine stock. Renders interested colours in c41 chemistry.
I think this film speaks for itself - cinematic results every time.
Instantly recognisable look - worth the price!
No? Me Either, anyway. This film is essentially shot at night by essentially everyone as it's tungsten balanced, makes highlights glow red, and is generally gorgeous. There's almost nothing to add to what has already been written by others, other than to the select few that fear re-spooled film being torn off by auto-advance cameras, this is stuck on there pretty damn well in their factory so won't wind up spinning around in your G2 or Hexar AF when you open the camera's back door in broad daylight.
But yeah, red highlights, tungsten-balanced, good in the dark. What's not to like about that.
5/5 Wouldn't take home to parents, a bit too weird, but would introduce to friends to increase my social status and edginess.
I love the personal touch offered by this company and Paul has responded to many of my questions as I develop my skillset in film photography.
Cinestill 800t has been my favourite film so far even though I only got chance to shoot in the day time, yet it still looks so cool.
