Fuji is one of the most famous Japanese global brands - and along with Eastman Kodak - dominated the film photography market for most of the 20th century. However the dawn of digital photography put significant strain on it's operations and it has restructured itself (and part-merged with Xerox) around a more diverse set of industries such as digital press, computer systems, and photocopying services. It's focus on traditional film has waned (giving rise to the nickname "FujiNOTfilm") - discontinuing several lines which has caused understandable upset among loyal users and planning to cut several more. However their creation and innovation of the Fuji Instax system (the most popular instant photography format today) means they will remain relevant to analogue photography for many years to come.

I used this film with my Canon AV-1 and it's extremely versatile. It works well in low-light too, with really gorgeous rendering of colours.
An awesome cheap & cheerful colour film, worth grabbing if it's in stock. I find this film stock produces pleasing colour rendition with little to no intervention when self scanning.
This may be my favourite "cheap" colour film. I like the colours and the grain and think it has an overall very nice and warm feel to it. Somewhere between the more muted look of Kodak Pro or Portra but not quite as over-saturated as other cheap colour film.
Quite forgiving in terms of exposure too.
At the price it's great for more experimental use such as double exposures etc.
Like Kodak Colorplus this is a reliable go to film for all types of photos. Used a couple of rolls recently on holiday. Got some nice light and well rendered colours. I guess I don’t have enough experience of higher price films to compare the performance of this, but it’s precisely because of films like this that I’ve never felt the need to spend more.
C200 is Fujifilm’s cheapest U.K. consumer film. It’s a 200 speed colour negative that seems to have a VERY slight magenta bias regardless of the scanner I run it through. This is very easily corrected and when it is, C200 is more than capable of creating fantastic images. Average grain for the speed and good to great colour reproduction, I often find my camera bag stuffed with this stuff if I’m off on a day out and don’t plan on doing any serious work but could run into it and be prepared none the less. If you’ve not shot it before you may as well go for it but don’t expect miracles. Overall great “drug store” ranked film. Would take on a second date but likely wouldn’t marry.
