Ilford Delta 3200 film is the definitive high-speed film to take with you to concerts, underground parties, and other night-time excursions. Delta is a modern emulsion from Ilford - created with finer grain to provide sharp black and white images with excellent contrast even in low light. While this means the 35mm film is slightly less forgiving of wide exposure latitudes, the professional results when you nail the exposure will blow you away!

Ilford was founded in 1879 in the English town of the same name. They are B&W royalty in the photography industry thanks to their 140-year heritage and their support for photographers with chemicals and development as well as film. In the mid-20th Century they produced several well-regarded camera lines (including one given to Princess Elizabeth that was later stolen!) but today they are focused on producing the best films and development processes that they can.

Delta 3200

I’ve been wanting to use a high speed film for a while now and delta 3200 was the ideal option. I shot the film at 1600 and developed for box speed and I really like the results. Delta would also be great if you need to use fast shutters speeds, I have yet to use it in low light but will definitely be trying it.

Delta 3200

Love shooting this film at night. Cheaper than the P3200 but great results nonetheless. Suitable for any light condition. I will keep buying it for sure!

Embrace The Grain and Flexibility

I've been wanting to try this film for a while and finally got around to it. There's a huge range of lighting conditions and situations this film works well for- shot through a Hi-matic 7s at 800 ISO, I managed to get great exposure and decent detail with a very appealing grittiness that was less intrusive than could be expected, only some early home development mistakes caused the shots to be less than they could be.

Pics were developed in Cinestill DF96 monobath.

Lovely low-light workhorse

First time using this film stock and I love it for shots at the pub and indoors. Shot it at 1000 and developed at 1600 with DD-X and very pleased with the results. Not too contrast-y but can easily edit that with software. I'm hoping to take some to gigs and concerts for those low-light situations!

Ilford Delta 3200

The character of the images are really unique. I wouldn't use it's as all-purpose because of the amount of grain. But due to speed is perfect for low light situations.
