This is my first 35mm point-and-shoot camera for over a decade. I had been using my grandad's old SLR for a while, and like so many had been using my iPhone for taking pictures. I had tried a few other vintage rangemaster style cameras but I was always too busy fussing over the settings to really be 'in the moment'. The dubblefilm SHOW is very simple to use, insert any 35mm film, use flash for portraits or indoors, otherwise it's point-and-shoot at its easiest. Additionally dubblefilm has been an excellent company to deal with on social media, sending encouragement to me, and promoting diversity in its marketing etc. Obviously with a fixed lens you can't do any micro photography, and subjects get a bit blurry within 1 metre, but for most situations this has not mattered. There is some nice softening towards the edges of the frame but the sharpness and quality of the overall image is excellent. I would highly recommend you picking up one of these in sleek black or funky pink, and get out, have fun, and shoot film!

Put a couple of rolls through the Dubblefilm Show after purchasing a month ago. Was impressed with how sharp it is in the middle with only the expected softening towards the edge of the frame.
Carried it round for a few weeks whilst on paternity leave. Hence the subject matter...
I brought this camera with the intention to move away from disposable cameras, to experiment using a point and shoot, particularly learning how to load and unload film. Also having the opportunity to select film of my choice. It’s been perfect especially exploring my creativity during the pandemic and highly recommend anyone interested in a step up from disposable cameras and want to learn a little more.
