I’ve only managed to shoot three rolls so far but can say it is certainly a fun film for night shooting. It’s cost is a bit much for what you get but a lot of that is down to reputation and demand I guess. Very interested to try for some night portraits soon
This film is just great there's a reason why Hollywood uses the stock this is based off, with amazing colour and wide range with exposure. Worth picking up a roll just to try.
Shot a roll of this on my first night in Vietnam. Low light performance was brilliant and allowed for some very interesting, stylised photos. Perfect for travel photography.
Pulled it to 400 by accident its a good all round film and its forgiving in post so definitely recommend it for pro use or just messing around like me.
I used CineStill 800T as the other film stock in my 35mm camera on a shoot for a personal project in a derelict location where natural light was beautiful when available and I wanted to give the images that "cinematic" look that everyone who used it raved about I was very pleasantly surprised by the results from the feel and look of the scanned negatives. That film has really the quality that it is attributed by many. Besides it really complements the story telling of my project. I'm so glad I picked it out for that project.
