A really fun experimental film

My tips for using this film would be:
Photograph something with recognisable colours like landscapes, so it it clear that something is strange about the resulting image. Also it is rated at ISO 100 - 400 but it really likes light so I found shooting at 100 or 200 gets the best results. Direct sunlight on a subject has the best colour changing effect. And lastly so you can plan what to shoot, here is a rough guide to what the colours will do:

- Reds stay mostly red, moving a little bit to the orange
- Greens go purple (some darker greens not so much)
- Blue skies change to a turquoise (more primary colour blues get more green than the sky will)
- And my favourite, yellows turn to a hot pink

Lots of fun when you get your pictures back, definitely worth trying!

Such a fun film

A really fun film to play with, especially when heading out into nature. I haven't been so excited to get scans back in a while!

So beautiful!

This is the first time I’ve shot Lomography Purple, but it definitely won’t be the last. I’m in love with the colour shifts of this film. Makes a great alternative film stock for capturing flowers and nature, rather than standard colours. Can’t wait to use this again!

Interesting results, fun

I’m an amateur photographer. I enjoyed shooting with this film and will definitely buy it again. The best results were in sunny locations, in the shade not as much pink was brought out.
