Great low light, beautiful colours.

Though a stylised film, a lot of people will not like the halations that form around highlights, I really love it. Gives a unique take on scenes and it’s always a surprise to see them turn out.

The 800 speed makes it ideal for long exposures and the tungsten balance renders some fantastic results. Ideal for street and architecture photography, although I have seen some amazing portraits taken on this film and I can’t wait to try some.

Great film, would recommend for anyone in the market for fast film.

Worth the price tag

Shot this film out of pure curiosity for the hype, assuming it could never be as good as claimed , and that the price tag was generated through pure brand recognition, especially when i've had such good results with daylight balanced films.

However I was blown away by the effect on the Tungsten white balance, the lack of halation, and the amazing grain structure given the high iso,

10/10 absolutely love it

Great film with a great character

A lovely film which gives special treatment to dark, illuminated scenes.

Be sure to use a slow shutter speed and a tripod to get the best from this film.

It's obligatory you shoot at least one petrol station with it as well, just so that you are using it properly!

Seriously though shooting petrol stations is a great benchmark as it will help you understand how much light works with this film to be at it's best.

Perfect for: Great All-Rounder
Great for night time.

This stock is great for evening photos and neon lights, I think it's best to over expose them as I shot at box speed and they still turned out rather dark.
