Something different

When you get your exposure right the photos are amazing. Very different to hp5.

Impressive grain and contrast

I've only just discovered this film and I have to say I am impressed. The contrast give images punch and the grain is much lass than I expected for a 400 iso film.

Punchy!

If you like a film with punchy contrast, then Rollei Retro 400s is a great choice.
I shot my latest roll at our local Armed Forces Day event..a bright sunny day, and this film handled it very well, with some great mid tones and shadow detail.

Cracking film choice

I really like rollies offerings and really like this film. I tend to opt for it during the winter months when im expecting grey cloudy skies, bleak days and do thoroughly enjoy the results.

Good film in brighter conditions

This was only my second time shooting this film, and I'm left thinking that it's a great film, BUT...not that great in dull conditions. I've never tried shooting it at anything other than box speed as yet, so I can't say if it will push or pull alright.
I'll definitely be shooting more of this film, but will wait for the right light conditions for my next roll.
