Another Silberra Solid

I prefer 160 but this has the same level of contrast and deep blacks. A win for me

Mixed feelings on Silberra Pan100

I have mixed feelings on this film.Things I liked was the fine grain and contrast that was achieved. So really good for street work. Landscapes I found to looked rather dark. If you like your images dark and moody this film is for you. I will try again when I'm shooting wet street or moody twilight shots

Great Film - Great Performer

Took this film on the Capital ring around the Docklands area - it perfomed amazingly with the subject matter - contrast and exposure latitude on this film worked amazingly for me. The most disappointing shots for me were down to my composition being too busy due to the excellent tonal range. I would guess that this film has some sensitivity into the infra red range as green foliage came out quite light at times generally enhancing the contrast for me.

A good, solid, film at a nice price point

Shot a roll of thisin an EOS5 with kit zoom lens a couple of weeks ago at a local church and then nature reserve. Had intended to develop in ID11 but used HC-110 by mistake (it's been a long week!) but the film didn't seem to care.

Even with the development oops, it gave nice contrast and a good range of tones with visible but pleasantly smooth grain. Shot at the slightly unusual box speed it may not be the most high impact film out there but it performs solidly enough that I suspect it's a prime candidate for pushing a stop or two, or possibly even pulling with the right subject matter.

Dried reasonably flat after developing and scanned easily on Epson V600 using Vuescan.

A good film

I want to say I am disappointed with the film but that is down to me. I developed it in Rodinal and its not the most recommended to use it mentions this on Silberra website. I am going to have another go with a developer that is more suited to it. Having said that the results are OK however a little grainy. It was a very bright day and the contrast was very high. I did read on Silberra website it is based on Agfa 100ISO film
