Great All Round Colour Emulsion

Colour reproduction is excellent, and despite having to take the film through an X ray machine (goddamnit Eurostar!) the images are fine, so it should be perfect for any holiday photos. I only wish that Fujifilm released their film stocks more often in Europe so supplies of it could be more consistant.

Fabulous All Rounder

This is one of my favourite films despite the faster speed and associated grain, which isn't as pronounced as some EI400 films. Compared the the standard flavour of Superia 400 the tones and colours are several notches above and in the right conditions provide an incredibly rich palette. On a bright sunny day the colours really pop, especially the reds, though if you're looking for a more subtle effect this isn't the choice for those days. I've added a selection of pics in all lighting condition. In deep shadow the film really lifts the image and on dull days allows the colours to emerge where other films give a murky result. Please keep making this Fuji. Pretty please.

A fairly nice

This is a fairly nice standard colour negative film, of which I have shot one roll. Being Fuji. I was expecting a green cast to the colours. But my roll ended up looking shifted more towards magenta than green. Sample images have very light ending in Lightroom, but preserve.

Pretty great

Has nice colours, latitude and pretty good in artificial light.

Underappreciated film

I really think this film offers a lot in terms of quality. The sharpness, grain and colour rendition are excellent, though it's quite hard to find this film now. Hopefully more rolls will make the trip over to the UK for us to shoot more of it!
