It was everything I had hoped for, nice detail and contrast. Worth the extra cost over cheaper film.

Great clarity

Like other reviewers, I found this film to be high-contrast, sharp and low-grain. Because it's so high-resolution, the photos have an almost digital quality at times. I can understand that this certainly has its uses! However, I do like a grainy black and white photo, so I would tend to go for a cheaper option unless I really needed this strong sharpness and detail.

I used a Nikkormat FT2 with a 28mm Nikon f-mount lens, as well as orange and red Cokin filters.

A great film stock

An amazing low ISO B&W film that excels in bright, sunny conditions. Has amazing contrast, detail, and fine grain. Develops well with Cinsestill DF96 mono bath. Very affordable for a professional film.

Best Modern Emulsion

This film is by far my favourite 'modern' emulsion! It's really sharp, detailed and contrasty, and able to give really beautiful clarity to your photos. I would highly recommend this if you are hoping to achieve more of this with your landscape photos.

Gorgeous contrast, richness and detail

I’ve been looking for a 100 speed BW film since the original Acros was killed off and the replacement shot up in price. Tried Delta 100 and was blown away by the richness of tones, contrast and sharpness. It’s a very contrasty film but not as sensitive as everyone makes out to exposure being off. I’ve used it on the street without paying much attention to the meter and it copes fine for me.
