Ptetty good

I love the soft dreamy cinema effect on this riverside photo shoot. I had a specific idea for the shoot, waited for a blazingly bright day and I got some lovely vibrant colours.

Nice rich colours particularly in well lit environments

Great for outdoor use. On a relatively gloomy day the colours of the welsh mountains came out a treat during sunny intervals.

Really warm and rich yellows and oranges.
Can be a little unpredictable for darker conditions so would advise saving it for sunshine.
Landscapes come out a treat however i havent had a chance with using it for portrait photography yet.

Fun film to experiment with

I decided to run this film through my medium format camera with a 35mm adapter.

It's got an interesting tonality, quite cool straight out of the camera in the lighting conditions I was shooting with.

The details are good, nice and sharp and it captured the blues and purples of my seaside scene well.

Cinematic - in the right conditions

This was my first experience of this film and I loved it. It really does give a cinematic look but, only when the conditions are right; i.e. in good light, especially backlit subjects. The film was much less successful in overcast conditions so I wouldn't consider it a good general purpose film.

Fantastically cinematic, conditions permitting

I was lucky enough to have great weather when shooting this film, and the abundance of sunlight resulted in an easy shooting experience. This film renders colours in an amazingly cinematic way, just a touch removed from realism to really elevate scenes. The halation around strong light sources can be good or bad - when used consciously the effect is wonderful, but when incidental it can be unpleasant. Detail seemed well maintained in shadows and highlights. I would use this film again, and would be happy using it for street, landscape, and portrait photography. Just look out for any strong light sources that may cause halation, and avoid or use them consciously.
