Beautiful colours

Using my Nikon F5 and a seconic meter I set out to capture some images with this old favourite. Early morning on a regular run through the lakes I stopped at the pier head at ambleside to grab some images and i was impressed with the results, T finish of the roll I set up an image at home illuminated by a small theatrical spot. bracketing the shots for this I managed to get close to the desired colours even with a tungsten light on daylight film,
Home processed using Rollei C41 chemicals

Rarer Than Coat Scarpers Made of Star Dust, But an Unknown Isomer of That

As per the description, this film is silly, maddeningly, painfully hard to get hold of these days. Kodak have been undergoing some major expansion efforts out in the states and beyond to help facilitate higher production output figures, so we hear on the grapevine. So it'll be worth the wait, but I am poor as **** pretty much all the time so this little baby is my saving grace. Enough about economics.

The film is great, really great, I love it. Annoyingly I shoot Portra a lot as a substitute for ColorPlus - which is even crazier. What even is that? C+ has a great dynamic range, fine grain considering the speed and price., outstanding tonal and colour reproduction, and costs less than basically any other film. It's the bee's knee's, item 9.

Please Kodak make more. Way more, I'd buy it by the pallet if I could. If it came in 120 I'd suffer instant spontaneous combustion.

5/5. I would introduce to the parents, get down on one knee and ask the question. It's that kinda girl. Wiiiiiild.

great

As the cheapest film around, Kodak Colorplus is really popular with our customers. We’ve reviewed it a couple of times before – here and here – but as it is a firm favourite of ours too, we thought we take it out again. So, we put a roll of Kodak Colorplus 200 in our Contax G2 and took it out around our new home at Brixton Recreation Centre in South London.

Colorplus is a nice film, with a slightly soft, classic look and muted colour tones. The key to its popularity is the price. When compared to the other films of a similar grade, such as Kodak Gold, Kodak Ultramax and Fuji C200, it is the obvious choice at more than half the price of these options.

Shoot all day everyday

That is what that film inspires me to do, to shoot all day everyday with it. I was messing around with coloured filters not really expecting a great result and was pleasantly surprised when I received the scans. It sells too fast though! No wonder why!
