Super fine grain

Once again another great film contrast levels high but not objectionable and shows little grain.
I had problems developing this film because of the thin base, had to cut it and load it onto two Patterson spirals
Developed in Rodinal 1:50 for 11 min.
This film needs handling with care to avoid scratching the negs .
Otherwise I am happy with the results

One of the best

I enjoyed every minute of using this film, right down to processing and the results were just as I expected! Great contrast with a lovely mix of sharpness and softness. The film is paper like and was tricky to use when putting in the camera and onto the reel for processing, but still nothing I can fault. I am looking forward to getting more of Washi's films and trying them out!!

Wonderful if unusual film

I really enjoyed using this film. It suited the subject quite well (industrial areas). The unusual ISO rating and nature of the film makes for interesting images.
Perfect balance of sharp and soft. Fine grain. Lovely contrast.

One of my favourites.

Really surprising

I'm now a fan of Washi. Panicked a little in the darkroom for when I pulled the reel out I felt how flimsy the film felt. I admit I struggled a little to get it onto the developing reel, but managed it after a few minutes.

The developed photos however are really sharp and have lovely contrast.

Contrast heaven

I put a roll through my Olympus XA and I was blown away. Amazing contrast with little grain, sharp and soft in perfect balance. If the exposure is wrong then it produces interesting results! Now one of my favourite B&W films.
