Sharp and clean

Super clean and sharp.

I have a hard time properly scanning slide film, but looking at this film on a light table is really nice.

It handles underexposure quite well. I intentionally underexposed the example shot as I didn’t have my tripod and it held up well.

I’m not saying you can pull out tons of details and make an image look super bright, but the film is flexible enough to allow for some errors when shooting.

Basically better than Ektar in my opinion

This film shares almost everything that ektar does including the fine if not no grain, the only problem I found was the cost per roll and cost of having dedicated chemicals or the cost of developing E-6 at a lab is a lot more than C-41.

Beautiful

Lovely colours and smooth feel to the photographs is what you'll get from this gem of a film. Definitely a pelasing choice for Portra lovers who don't mind stepping down to 100 ISO, because the result will be even more pleasing in my opinion.

Fantastic slide film

A very satsifying slide film that looks great, a less heavy cast than velvia 100 with a bit more of a blue tint, the slides look fantastic in 6x7 format, my only criticism is that the reciprocity failure is a bit short, and you need a filter for exposures over 2 minutes, there is also not an in depth recirprocity chart for this film so I had to use an old E100G reciprocity chart.

First time using E100

I've never shot a Kodak slide film but was pleasantly surprised how tolerant to overexposure E100 was (not intentional I was just metering rather quickly!). Lovely tonality when digitised with rich colours to boot.
I used it for portraiture but I don't think it would be out of place with landscape work too. Definitely an E6 film I will come back to again and again :)
