A good all rounder.

I have used the ID-11 in stock form to process a number of different films (HP5, Street Candy400, fomapan 400 &100) recently with good and consistent results.
I can recommend this as a tried and tested solution.

Does what it says on the packet!

Works just fine with Ilford FP4, HP5 and Fomopan 100 ASA 120 Roll and 4x5 Sheet.

A good fine grain developer.

Having in recent years gone back to doing more analogue photography I started off using Ilfotec DDX liquid concentrate developer which is very good. The problem though with DDX is it's limited shelf life. I then started using ID11 which is powder form and in that state it has almost unlimited shelf life. It's proven be very good developing Ilford HP5+ film with a fine grain. It's enabled me to use HP5 as my 'go to' film. I can now buy a couple of boxes so I know I've always got some in stock and just make it up when needed. I commonly use it diluted 1+3 for an economical solution to my developing needs.

A great starter developer

This is easy to use, consistent and predictable....what more do you need? I use it at stock dilution and it provides fast accurate development on a huge variety of emulsions. VERY economical to use and so simple!

A great product

Haven't been in my darkroom for many years so my chemicals had all expired. Having just used a 27 year old bw film in one of my vintage Canon"s, I wanted to try a powder developer for a change. This product worked great on my very expired Ilford film although a mistake by me loading the film into the spiral meant only 10 frames eventually came out. Nice contrast and very forgiving on my old film. Will be using again when I experiment with a roll of 120 soon!
