Surprised

Despite reading mostly good things about this film I was still pleasantly surprised with the results I got from a 120 roll. Maybe the 35mm version would be a bit more gritty but the 120 version was smooth and pleasantly sharp.
Colour was pleasing too.
Worth giving a try I suggest.

Stunning stuff

I wasn't expecting much from this film but it blew me away when I got my first negs back. Great exposure latitude, perfectly on-point saturation and tonality, unbelievably little grain for 800 ISO. Beast for landscapes, portraits, still life and probably much more. Sample pic from a Lubitel 2.

Fantastic

I absolutely love it. Received this in the post and immediately put it in my camera. This film delivers amazing results. With high-speed color film being so rare, this is a true gem.

Truly a great fast film

I took a day out in the East End of London with my Fuji GA645Zi. The only film in the fridge was Lomo 800 or Tri-X. I usually prefer black and white, but thought, what the hell, I’ll try this Lomo that keep putting off using. I assumed it would be some poncy, grainy, arty film For the kidz.

I couldn’t have been more wrong. Colours are true to life and grain is so restrained that you could mistake it for 200 ASA. Just remember you’ll b3 stopped right down on bright days and many medium format cameras only go to 1/500. Thankfully the GA645Zi goes to 1/700 and stops down to f32.

Shame it’s out of stock at present, but this film is highly recommended in both 120 and 35mm.

Quite possibly the most versatile film on the market - and an affordable one!

This film is so amazingly versatile and forgiving: 1) Developed normally, it can survive being exposed as EI100 (!!) with virtually no penalty in image quality (but a nice bump in saturation) 2) If you push it in development, Lomography CN800 can give very usable results up to EI3200, my favourite sweet spot being EI1600 - beautiful, slightly muted colours, pronounced but very organic grain, sharp and reasonably contrasty. When you add its price to the mix, it's really hard to beat Lomography CN800 for sheer versatility! Oh and it looks great :) This shot is EI1600.
