Best film for summer photos

My favourite film to take on a holiday. Love everything about it, sharpness, tones and warm colours.

Superb

Portra 160 is dynamite, rated at 100 it goes easy on the shadows and still has plenty of highlight detail. The name suggests portrait use but if you love green scenes, the green dyes and couplers in this emulsion will make that foliage sing.

Beautiful filme

I love this film. It's the one I use the most. The colours are vibrant without being too intense and the fine grain is great. It's a quite versatile film. I have used under low light and it worked pretty well. It captures detail and shadows beautifully. It's great for landscapes, though I prefer to use it for portraits.
