Lomography has been at the forefront of the analogue revolution for decades. Starting in 1992 with some Viennese students falling in love with the aesthetic of a particular Soviet camera (the iconic LC-A) - they founded a movement and a company that would introduce a new generation to the joys of plastic cameras and experimental film. Periodically innovating new cameras for existing formats - and sometimes bringing back formats specially for their cameras! - they are vibrant and creative

Sometimes you just need a little spark.

I think this pack is great if you’ve been shooting standard film for months and you’re starting to lose the joy of it. Metropolis is a great film that makes you think twice before every exposure, as the light conditions can make a huge difference on the end result. The warm shift is perfect for making the spring look like the summer, and personally I think it’s leaps and bounds better than dubblefilm.

I’m still only halfway through Lomochrome purple but it’s really making me stop and think about what colours are where, so I’m looking forward to seeing what happens when I get them developed!

Lovely little set of films

Love this set - two gorgeous film canisters that I use for my spare rolls when shooting. The key ring is cute (I got the lc-a). The purple film is my current favourite and is more versatile than you might think, though personally, I don’t like it for portraits. Street and landscapes work well though, either in bright sunlight or overcast light. I’m less keen on metropolis, but that’s just a personal taste thing. I find it a bit contrasty, though lies so when shot at 100.

Cyberpunk Noir

This is the first time shooting both these films.
Purple shot @ 200... I decided against the usual shots of lots of plants and nature and went out on a rainy night with my mate to shoot lots of petrol stations and reflections of artificial lights. I was very happy with the results. Gives a kind of Cyberpunk Noir look.

Metropolis @ 200... First off, very grainy in the shadows, i did some portraits and was not happy with the muddy skin colour however the red bikini fairly popped. Red and blue is where it wins, there colours look great on this film and I would definitely use it again for street shooting.

Its not hard to distinguish which film was which from my sample shots posted here. Good value pack overall.
