Based on other reviews I was expecting more halation and colour correction but the results I got were fantastic. I'm really happy and might save my other roll of this for my summer holiday as this film seems to look great in strong light.

Quite a cool toned film with a fair amount of halation going on. I enjoyed it but would only use it for certain shoots in the future now I know what it is like.

In all honesty, I usually don't tend to use Colour Negative film all that much, I find that Black and White fit the mood and motif I'm looking for much better; that being said, when England (Finally) had a few days of sun, I thought 'lets give it a go'.

The sample shots will give some credence for the review; using a Olympus OM-10 set to ISO 200 (box ISO) I took a number of images and these 3 are probably the best from the day. Ample sunlight allowed for a unusually washed tone moving towards the yellow. It's not entirely forgiving however, as some similar images taken are clearly over exposed or more vivid than they really should have been.

Candido 200 is a good film stock, a good price point and usually pretty accessible; the colour it brings out is very good, a nice vividly rich tone that brings in mind 1970's summer. It's slightly unforgiving and erratic consistency prevents it being a great film stock but one I would still recommend for a bright sunny day.

Candido produced some beautiful snaps, good levels of grain and a lovely contrast. I found that candido produced cold colours even in bright sunlight in the middle of august. Not a bad thing at all, I’d love to shoot some winter scenes with this. Great price.

It appears to be re-spooled Kodak Vision 200T with a poor re-jet removal job, clearly a tungsten balanced film by the blue cast you get if you don't white balance correct for it. Clear halation from the removal of the remjet removal (which would be fine if Candido were up front about this), and both rolls I had suffered from damage to the colour layers (halated dust and scratches in the final negs) and light leaks on the first few shots.

To top it all off, on a price-per-shot basis, it's not even as cheap as Kodak 200!

These needed a lot of work in post to correct and clean up, far more than they should.

Poor quality control, misleading product description from Candido, and not even cheap make it one I will be avoiding in the future.
