Compact, Functional and Retro-Styled!

I probably didn't need to buy a film case. I don't carry more than 2-3 around with me, and I have a top shelf in the fridge free for any that need storing. But, hey. I'm a sucker for organisation, especially when it looks as cute and compact as this - these cases are great, store up to 10 films at a time, and come in a variety of colours. I opted for the olive, as my main camera is a reskinned green Olympus Trip 35. As a happy accident, the colour perfectly pairs with the stickers received with my last order too!
As others have stated, the lid is not the most secure. However, I've personally only marked it down by one star, as I won't be using this to carry the film around but to keep my own organized - I keep my exposed rolls in here until they're ready to go.
Did I need it? No. Do I love it? Definitely.

A great idea, a poor execution.

The camera case comfortably stores 10 rolls of 35mm film, which is perfect. The hold compartment / container that actually holds the film feels sturdy. The only issue is the lid - it's not very secure, and as another reviewer mentions, you end up having to wrap an elastic band / some sort of wrap around the case to keep the lid secure. A minor issue, sure, but one that ultimately means it's not a must-have addition to your camera bag. If the lid was more secure, this would be a superb travel companion to keep all your film nicely organized. I have ended up using it as storage for exposed rolls that I am accruing before developing (which I am notoriously disorganized with, usually), which works perfectly, as I don't necessarily have to worry about the lid falling off in a bag or anything.

I would recommend this as a great storage solution for exposed film, but not necessarily as a travel companion.

Does what it says on the tin.

Not a lot to say about this, super handy for travelling with and storing film. I’ve bought several of them now. Recommend.

Great idea but bad design

I was fairly unimpressed with the container when I got it. Yeah it stores a number of films, which is useful and that’s the point. But the lid isn’t very secure so I have to use an elastic band to keep it together especially when travelling. Considering this is the only purpose for it, I feel it was a poor design and wouldn’t recommend it. I have since picked up an old plastic container for film which came free with a photography magazine, it has a clip lid and it a much more slender design and work perfectly.

Sorry for the negative review. Would love to see something more useful land in its place like this older design.

Protect those films! Looks the money with a do not x-ray sticker ;)
