What Will I Get?
- Receive 2 films every month, handpicked by the passionate team here at AW 📸 This will be a mix of B&W and colour - and will be films that can be shot in any 35mm film camera
- Included will be a £20 voucher for developing your films at the WonderLab plus a FREE tracked shipping label to send your films to the lab. The voucher will cover development for both your WonderBox films ⚗️
- The films and developing voucher will be sent on the same working day as your first subscription. So if you signed up at the end of the month, you will always get your next box around the same time! 📆
- You will get regular emails with tips, tricks, and community sample images of the included film to help you learn how to get the best out of each emulsion! 🎞
- You will also be invited to an exclusive Facebook group where other subscribers will share their results and answer any questions you may have 😅
Please note: The cost of this box does not include postage fees - you will need to pay this on top of your WonderBox purchase.
What Else Do I Need?
You will need a 35mm film camera to start taking photos. That could either be a second-hand vintage camera, or one of the new models you can buy here: 35mm Film Cameras
When you've finished the films then you will need the images developed. Head over to our WonderLab and select 35mm Film Developing. Use your monthly lab voucher (included in every shipment) to get FREE development on both of your films (upgrade to get scans too).
You will have received a tracked shipping label within your WonderBox Plus package to send in your finished films FREE and TRACKED, and within a matter of days you will see your photos!
The developed negatives will then be returned to you so you can store them safely at home.
How to Manage your Account
Log in to your account and visit the following link: My Account.
You will then see details about your WonderBox (similar to below) including the date of the next subscription, payment details, shipping information etc. You can easily update any of this information as well as pause your subscription if you want to skip a box.

Every month I look forward to getting my new box, and figuring out which film I'm going to use next! I used to just stick with Kodak gold, but this subscription has enabled me to experiment with different film. I have had a few now that I didn't think I would love, but I have!
Received two months now and the film range has been great (B&W, Colour with a range of iso). Really enjoying seeing the range of results and experimenting with my olympus trip 35 to see what comes out!
The turnaround is often quicker than advertised and redeeming the voucher code along with the delivery label supplied makes it really easy to send off for development.
This is a fun way to try new film and pre-pay for some of the developing. Since I wanted higher-res scans, it was more like a discount than really covering the cost of developing and scanning but I feel like this is still a good deal in terms of what you get for the cost!
I really like my WonderBox subscription. As a learning photographer it gives me a variety of types of film to play with and gives me a chance to find new favourites. My only issue would be that the voucher is only enough to get you low res scans so as a result i spend extra ££ on top of the £40 already spent on the box for decent scans. As a returning customer spending a monthly fee it would be great to have standard scans included in the price of the box.
You get two films and a 20 pound voucher, in theory this has been great value the films come to more than £20 so your pound goes further. The issue is that you can only use one voucher at a time and you still need to pay shipping- even if you haven't spent all your voucher- so I am left with 2 vouchers that are not fully used, and I have paid for shipping in addition to the subscription. This is clumsy and unsatisfactory. The service should be a simple- pay £40 get two films delivered and developed to the cost that 40- and pay extra only if you want a higher quality file etc. I like the idea, but I am ending my subscription with half used vouchers.
