This is a slow film that requires bright light or the use of a tripod and cable release, but the results are really pleasing with very fine grain.
I shot the sample images with my Olympus OM10 in AP mode on quite a bright day, and developed it in 510 Pyro.
I'm now quite egar to try it in medium format!!

I liked this film - it's not for every situation, but I used it for some landscape photography testing at Sidmouth. I think it is best suited to non-moving subjects, unless you want to introduce movement in bright daylight, for example moving water without using an ND filter (just use an ND filter instead with a normal film though!), but otherwise I think that the slow speed makes this quite a niche, inflexible film. It appears to have extremely low grain, high contrast, and I felt relatively low dynamic range sensitivity, leading to under and overexposure in high dynamic range scenes, but as it is B&W, this does somewhat add to the drama. It enjoys lots of light but midday sun may be too HDR for it if you have sky or deep shadows. A tripod is essential, shooting handheld is unlikely to be successful unless you use a fast shutter speed. When you nail the focus and keep it steady, this is an extremely sharp film, exceeding the resolution of the AW 'standard' scans with no visible grain. I would buy it again for further experimentation, or perhaps to compare with a 50 speed film. I tried some shots with a big stopper and they all came out rather underexposed, so definitely compensate for longer exposures or bracket exposures by at least +1 or +2 stops to be safe. Sample shots taken with a Canon 300V with a 24-105mm f4 L lens (and a tripod!).
I wanted an easy to use slow film, and this fits the bill perfectly. I generally like the look of Rollei film, but the 25 takes this further - very little film grain, nice contrast, and exceptional value.
I really enjoyed using this film, it gave my seascape photos a really interesting look! I’ve bought more since.
