> HP5 - The best-selling black-and-white 120 film in our store, and with very good reason! Beloved by film shooters, this iconic Ilford emulsion has a gorgeous grain structure that will provide the perfect vintage look to your photos - particularly in medium format.
Ilford HP5 is also very forgiving of exposure, so you will get great results in a variety of difficult light and contrast situations.
You can also push it to 1600 speed while maintaining good detail and resolution, and after shooting it you will be able to use a wide range of home developing chemicals to nail your ideal aesthetic.
“The ultimate film, highly recommend.”

> XP2 - a high-speed, fine-grained beauty of a 120 film - and most importantly it can be processed via the normal colour process which is offered as same-day development in many high-street shops! A useful chemical trick from Ilford that has wonderful benefits to the effective exposure latitude of the film
“So handy to have the C41 development as part of this film, the grain is nice and fine, some nice contrast and the film is very versatile.”

> Delta 100 - Designed to deliver exceptional image quality, this medium-format film is a favourite among discerning photographers. Boasting fine grain and rich tonality, Delta 100 produces stunningly sharp, detailed, and smooth images, making it an ideal choice for capturing landscapes, portraits, and artistic compositions.
“Tried this out on holiday and the results were brilliant! The contrast is great so be sure to look for nice shadows, especially in architecture. Great to use :)”
Maxim
> Delta 400 - Created with finer grain to provide sharp black and white images with excellent contrast.
While this means the 120 film is slightly less forgiving of wide exposure latitudes, the professional results when you nail the exposure will blow you away!
“For me, Delta 400 is the perfect b&w film. The exposure latitude given by the 400 ISO gives me so much range and is great for the type of photography I like to do. The grain is fine and keeps the detail crisp. I love shooting this film.”

> Delta 3200 - the definitive high-speed medium format film to take with you to concerts, underground parties, and other night-time excursions. Delta is a modern emulsion from Ilford - created with finer grain to provide sharp black and white images with excellent contrast even in low light.
“I've been very impressed with Delta 3200 metered at ISO1000 and developed in Ilfotec DD-X for my studio work using window light.”

> FP4 - perfect for capturing black and white photographs with fine detail. It has a high resolution and a wide exposure latitude, making it ideal for a range of lighting conditions. Ilford FP4 120 film produces a classic, timeless look that is perfect for fine art photography, portraits, and landscapes.
“Amazing film for B&W photography, very sharp with great details.”

> Pan F - perfect for bright sunlight and studio lighting, Pan F Plus is a medium format film that delivers very fine black and white detail, high contrast and images that SNAP with sharpness!
It will give you very pleasant soft skin tones and nice contrast for portraiture, and rich blacks for gorgeous shadows.
“Really beautiful detail in this film, I normally shoot 400 so enjoyed the creative possibility for longer exposures with a slower film.”
Buster
> Ortho 80 - a wonderful new medium format emulsion: designed for situations requiring high-resolution detail and fine grain. Its colour sensitivity is skewed towards green and blue with two benefits: landscape photography will look particularly dramatic, and the film can be handled safely under dark-red safelights for easier processing and development.
Rate at 80 under natural light and 40 under tungsten light for optimal results.
“Cannot recommend this film enough, not made for portraiture but it's almost all I use! Go for it!”
Lucinda L
> SFX - a premium B&W film created for high-quality and high-detail infrared photography. Add an intense red filter to get unique and powerful images.
As always with infrared we recommend aiming your camera at full vegetation and dramatic cloudy skies. In medium format this infrared film will dazzle with its detail and other-worldly impact.
“I bought this film and some IR filters to have a play with the idea of shooting "near" infrared. This isn't a true IR film -- it's a perfectly good B&W film at 200 ISO -- but it is sensitive to infrared light, so if you put a 760nm filter on and add about 6-8 stops to your exposure, you get a mysterious whitening of foliage that changes the entire mood of a landscape.”
