- J.C
> Kodak UltraMax 35mm 24exp Film - Kodak Ultramax 35mm film is a versatile colour negative film suitable for a variety of photography situations. It offers vivid, accurate colours and sharp, fine imagery. Its wide exposure latitude allows for capturing vibrant colours in daylight, and beautiful portrait shots too.
Colour-balanced for smooth skin tones and natural hues, it delivers bright blues, greens and reds out of the box – perfect for all kinds of photography; from portraits to action scenes.
“Great all-rounder film to be honest. Lots of colour depth and an added warmth to photos without being overpowering. Captures sunlight very well.”
- L.S
> Ilford HP5 Plus 35mm 24exp Film - The number one black & white film in the UK 🏆 A fantastic film that is flexible and forgiving, and will give you incredible results regardless of the background lighting. A favourite of film shooters all over the world!
“Great film stock, incredibly versatile. Fantastic pushed and pulled. Justifiable grain, great contrast, and can be used at all hours. The film stock I go to when I need reliability and repeatability.”
- Gus W
> Ilford XP2 35mm 24exp Film - Ilford XP2 Super is a high-speed, fine-grained beauty of a 35mm film - and most importantly it is processed via the normal colour process which gives it extra flexibility and exposure latitude than most B&W films. It will also be noticeably 'punchier' than HP5 in terms of contrast, which will give you a very different look.
“I've rapidly grown to love XP2, mainly because AW just seem to bring out the best in it.”
- C.B
> Rollei RPX 400 35mm 36exp Film - Rollei RPX400 is the most flexible of the popular black and white RPX emulsions. This ISO 400 B&W 35mm film is famous for its rich tones and shadow detail - your pictures in any lighting situation will appear fantastically sharp and clear.
“I was well-chuffed with Rollei RPX 400. It's not too grainy for a 400 ISO film. And it coped well with a big, dark subject on what wasn't the brightest of days. The scans from AW came back with nice tones and plenty of detail in the shadows.”
