Love this film reminds me of 800T of course but in rolls of 24 and less money which can only be a good thing.
I love this one. Nighttime photography looks great with this film.
I got my most recent batch of negatives back from the Analogue Wonderland development lab and I am over the moon with the results from this film. It's the first time I've ever used any Candido so I was unsure what to expect. I shot the roll with a Lomo Apparat toy camera and wasn't particularly precious about the lighting of each shot. I'm thrilled to see the vibrancy of the colours across all lighting conditions- night, indoors, daytime, pointed directly at the sun... Especially considering the inability to affect settings on the Lomo Apparat. I really love the grain in lower light, this coupled with the highly saturated colours gives a maximalist aesthetic that I so appreciate. Light leaks are something I really enjoy, it's why I use a lot of Lomography/toy cameras, these usually appear as a white glow/vingette or like sun spots. With the Candido film, the light leaks have come back strongly coloured in unpredictable ways. I'm so surprised by this film and have fallen instantly head over heels for it! Strongly recommend trying it if you're a creative/experimental photographer.
Its rather wonderful in low light and I love how it renders red tones. Rather lovely for portraits which surprised me.
