Very mixed bag of results and grain seems very noticeable for a 200 film.
The dynamic range seems to be very limited and a lot of photos where underexposed. Will keep experimenting but at the moment I'm not convinced.

Mixed bag
My first time using a Phoenix film and after reading lots of people saying photos turn out flat, I have to agree. As you'll see from the pictures, the roll was very inconsistent. This may be issues with my camera but nonetheless, I was hoping for more consistency

It's getting better
I was very critical of Phoenix I and I still believe that I had a couple of bad rolls but Harman never replied to me about them but that's in the past.
Version 2 is definitely an improvement over 1 but still has it's quirks.
The film definitely seems to have a better dynamic range and the halation seems to be a bit more under control, more like 400d although the whites have a pinkish tone to them (see samples).
Although is film is rated at ISO200 I shot it at 125 which overexposing by 1 stop although I can't say I saw much difference, although the images looked flat.
The film was shot other a few different days but the days were pretty consistent, bright but cloudy and with a low sun index.
Although the film is an improvement, I don't think it is currently at a stage where I would be regularly buying it.
Obvious caveat; my camera had a few issues, there are light leaks for DAYS but if you can look past them, just look at those colours - blues and yellows especially. I can't wait to shoot more of this, and I'm a die hard Phoenix 1 apologist

Sunny day or in a tent it never seeems happy
I was excited to take this new film to a music festival I’ve been invited to. It was the first time my little brother was playing on stage at a festival so I took a roll and did the usual 36 snaps. once I’ve got the pictures back from developing and I have to say I’m very disappointed with the colours. It almost seems like there are only three colours in it blue yellow and green every photo whether it was taken in blazing hot sunshine or inside the tent has come out murky I feel like the results are a little bit poor for how much it cost for a roll I bought the collector set and I’m almost begrudging having to use the other four rolls.
