Coronavirus Statement

By Paul McKay

As Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread around the globe, we would like to share a short summary of anticipated impact on our business for both our domestic and international customers. We will update this regularly as the situation evolves.

Last updated: 9pm Wednesday 25th March - note suspension of international shipments

Opening Timetable

We are continuing to operate the business within normal hours. Mary and I have started to separate shift work - for ourselves and also our warehouse staff - to minimise the chance we are all forced to self-isolate at the same time. This does mean we are going to be slightly more stretched than usual so please understand if email responses are slower than usual or it takes an extra couple of days to dispatch your films - especially at the start of the week as we catch up with weekend orders.

Please call us on 01494 614514 between 10am-4pm if you have any urgent questions about your order.

Delivery Times/Geographical Suspensions

We are still dispatching parcels domestically but have temporarily suspended our international deliveries. This is due to the inconsistencies we were seeing for delivery times and success rates across the globe, as the disease impacts different countries' infrastructures. We apologise for this temporary measure - all orders already placed will be sent, but we will not accept new orders for postal addresses outside the UK.

UK deliveries are not being affected on a national scale, but there may be local issues linked to specific cases/postal routes. As always watch the tracking info (you will get this in an email when your order is dispatched) for details, and call the office on 01494 614514 with any questions or concerns.

Stock Levels

We are experiencing some small difficulties in ordering certain brands and products as factories, warehouses and supply chains around the world are put on pause.

This might mean your favourite films go out of stock - we apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused and would encourage you to use the 'notify me' functionality on each 'out-of-stock' product page to get emails as soon as they arrive back in.

However at present the majority of Ilford, Kodak, Foma and Rollei are all reliably being replenished.

In the meantime - for UK film photographers, if you're after some stock-up then please follow the links below!
