The Launch of the Summer Holidays Competition and Giveaway!

By Paul McKay

We are THRILLED to announce that the Summer Holidays Competition and Giveaway - in partnership with Kodak Alaris - is now OPEN! Full page with details on is here.

As you may have heard on the Sunny 16 Podcast this morning, we have worked hard with Kodak Alaris to create something exciting to propel you through the upcoming summer months.

First exciting part: a Giveaway! Every single order from Analogue Wonderland placed between now and the 3rd September that contains at least one roll of Kodak will also include a free roll of Kodak Colorplus 24exp 35mm! Multiple orders from the same customer will all qualify (as long as they contain some Kodak!) so feel free to return for top-ups across the summer.

Importantly we encourage you to use this free film to teach a friend/family member/friendly stranger about the joy of film photography while on your summer holidays. Share your adventures with them by using the hashtag #FirstFrameofFun so we can see how you get on!

Second exciting part: we are running a competition in tandem with this giveaway, with the theme "Summer Holidays". The only criteria of the image is that you took it on Kodak film and it was captured between 19th July and 3rd Sept 2018. You can submit multiple entries at the following link: Competition Submission and there are two categories

  1. Beginner. If you have started shooting film photography in 2018
  2. Proficient. If you have been shooting film since 2017 and earlier

Of course the Beginner's category is perfect for whomever you taught film photography with the free Colorplus! (See "Exciting Part 1")

Third exciting part: the winner of each category will be chosen by a senior manager at Kodak Alaris in September and will receive a goodie bag of Kodak film... including one of the first rolls of EKTACHROME to be delivered to the UK! Exact time of this delivery is not yet confirmed (expected late-2018), but the two winners will be lucky recipients of a roll from within the very first shipment.

So get ordering, get shooting, and get submitting! The page is now open with full T&Cs, and if you have any questions that aren't answered by that detail then please get in touch.

Happy Shooting!
