Great product!

Never having home developed before, I've found this device makes it very easy. I've tried 120 and 35mm black and white film without any issue. I'm not sure that I wouldn't have messed it up using a normal tank. The ability to load the film in daylight makes it so much more convenient. The only minus point is probably the price!

I thought I'd dip my toe into home development and the Lab-Box proved to be just the ideal product for that. I've now used it for 35mm and 120 several times with success and glad to report no failures. There are a couple of things to look out for. Firstly I've not developed 120 without loosing my 1st frame to the light. Secondly there are several film stocks that Ars-Image do not recommend using the product is used for developing (they were exceptional in responding to my queries). Finally I would seriously recommend a visit to YouTube before you dive in... invaluable !

Fantastic bit of kit that makes it so much easier

It is a bit of a faff to do your first roll of film - until you work out your process but after that, if you are only developing no more than 2-3 rolls at a time, this is a much more convenient way of processing than changing bags and blind feeder spooling IMHO. I agree with the other reviewer in that the only thing that goes against it is that it is a bit expensive. Remember and order a film retriever too as it is easier
