Foma traces its origins back to Prague in 1919. They have remained in the Czech Rupublic ever since, working throughout the past century on different films, papers and chemicals for use by medical schools and the military - as well as ordinary photographers in Eastern Europe. Their black and white films are the result of decades of expertise - you will not be disappointed!

Selfie Time!

Unfortunately, AW don't have this stock in 9x12cm, so I had to keave a review on the nearest size.

Very good quality when you use Ilfosol 3 at 1+9 dilution. Doesn't work so well in Ilfotec DD-X.

Fine quality!

As I've said before, I use the 9x12cm size, which Analogue Wonderland don't stock, but nonetheless it's still large format, right?

Ilfosol 3 is a good developer, tack sharp negatives!

These 6 negatives came out fab!

Good for portraits

Although the attached picture (selfie) was 9x12cm format not 4x5, the difference is minimal. A great film for photography in good light. Best used in open sun or mild shade if taking portraits in my experience.

I'd advise prewashing the film first to get rid of the antihalation layer which turns your chemicals a bluey green.
