Welcome to our Winter Competition page! The competition has now closed - winners will be selected and announced by the end of March. Thank you for your interest!
Low Light Magic
Long winter nights and cloudy skies do not need to send film photographers into hibernation! We want to celebrate the photographs and images that can be produced when light is limited but creativity is boundless.
Whether that's using high-ISO films like the Kodak P3200, playing with flashes indoors (or outdoors!), working with silhouettes and shadows for strong contrast, or just using streetlamps and headlights to illuminate your subject - we want to know how YOU embrace the darkness and turn it to your advantage.
Competition Prizes:
The two best Low Light Magic photographs - as judged by Kodak Alaris - will get a Kodak goodie bag full of film AND a £25 voucher from our award-winning lab partner Digitalab to turn their winning image into a gorgeous permanent print.
Reminder of the rules
You can submit any image (or images) that fulfil the following criteria:
- An original photo taken on Kodak film (any format and emulsion)
- Theme: "Low Light Magic" - interpret how you wish!
- You must have full copyright of the image

Terms and Conditions:
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The competition is open to all film photographers - there is no obligation on where you have purchased your Kodak film. There is no entry fee but if the winner requires postage of their prize outside of Europe or North America there may be a supplementary charge to get their goodies to them promptly and safely. There is also no requirement on number of entries - submit as many as you wish by filling in the form each time.
Closing date for entry will be 28th February 2019. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
Winners will be chosen by an employee of Kodak Alaris. Their judgement is final.
The winners will be notified by email within 28 days of the close of the competition. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The winner’s name will be available 28 days after closing date by emailing the following address: help@analoguewonderland.co.uk
