FPP Derev Pan 200 - 35mm Film

Our Price: £12.00 GBP

100432

Description

Derev Pan 200 is the mid-speed film from a new range of B&W launched by FPP: adapted from aerial scientific photographic film and named after the forests of Ukraine.

Enjoy its sharp separation of green and blue tones (helpful for aerial photography!) giving the images a different look to typical panchromatic B&W films - and the great detail and sharpness you'd expect from a 200-speed film.

About FPP

FPP is short-hand for the Film Photography Project: a US-based collection of projects headed up by the charismatic Mike Raso. They are most famous within the global film community for their podcast (entering it's 10th year in existence) as well as the associated School Camera Donation Program whereby donations are sought and sorted to bring analogue photography back into high schools and colleges all over the country. Not only that but Mike also runs the FPP store which sells a multitude of analogue film products all over the US and hand-rolls a fantastic selection of unique films. We are honoured to bring some of those films to the European market and hope you enjoy shooting them as much as Mike has making them!

Where we ship

When you buy your camera film from us we can ship it across the UK, Europe, USA, New Zealand, Australia and Canada (more countries planned soon!) So buy your FPP DerevPan 200 35mm Film and dive back into the fun of 35mm film photography!

Good fine grained panchromatic film

The Derev Pan 200 produces black and white images with good contrast and fine grain.

This is the first time I used it (in an old Ricoh Mirai, which I had also never used). I'm happy with the outcome. While it is a bit pricey for me to use all the time, I'll definitely be interested in using it again.

I developed it myself in Ilfosol 3 for 6m 45s and it seems to be fine.

A very pleasant film for nature photography

I'm not long in the film photography game, but I really enjoyed using this film. The sample images are shot with an OM-1 with no filter, then stand development in rodinal. Its picked out some rich tones within the foliage in some difficult exposure conditions, and no fancy scanning shenanigans. It loaded easily onto the dev spool, and scanned nicely too. I'll definitely get another few rolls.
