Description

The ILFORD ILFOCOLOR rapid retro edition single Use Camera is a point and shoot disposable camera loaded with "Ilfocolor" Film. This Retro ILFORD camera is a throw back to the 1960’s in its look and design, a classic time for the colour aesthetic of the camera.

The ILFORD ILFOCOLOR Rapid single use camera is pre-loaded with 27-exposure ISO 400 colour negative film. The fast film combined with a built-in flash makes the ILFOCOLOR Rapid a versatile performer, delivering great results outdoors and indoors and in low light conditions.

The contained film is able to be developed by all colour (C-41) labs.

NB: after development your lab should be have the facilities to return the camera to a manufacturer for reloading and reuse. Please check with them if you're unsure - cameras should not be contributing to the plastic crisis!

Took film out of disposable and used in Canon AE1-Program

I cheated slightly ..... in that.... instead of using the disposable camera I removed the film after running it through a closed lens exposure cycle and loaded it into a Canon AE1-Program with 28mm and 50mm lens. This allows a guaranteed correct exposure on each shot rather than being limited to the f10/f11 lens and the 1/125th -ish shutter speed. like the more saturated blues and reds.
