The ILFORD Pop-Up Darkroom is the perfect solution for film photographers who want to print their negatives and otherwise may struggle to convert existing spaces into suitable working darkrooms.
The external metal frame is approximately 2.2m tall when erected and should fit in most standard ceiling height rooms in European, American and Asian homes while still creating a workable 1.3 x 1.3m space to print while standing or seated.
A durable light tight black material clips to the frame while an accompanying ground mat offers protection for your flooring and can be fastened to the darkroom material.
A built-in air vent towards the base of the darkroom allows for an optional fan / air blower to be used and once sealed the incoming air will also expand the inner dimensions.
A smaller vent is also included closer to the top of the darkroom to attach air extraction tubes (not included).
The Pop-Up Darkroom contains a material loop at the top to hang a safelight and can easily be folded down for storage or transportation in the included carry case.

After moving house there has been nowhere to set up a conventional darkroom so bought the Ilford Pop Up one. This tent in blackout material is so easy to erect and totally dark within. Feed tubes for cables (and vents) mean that an infra red lamp can be used inside as well as enlarger, room for table and chair but small enough to pop up anywhere - even the spare room. Would highly recommend this product.

could be better ,
I bought this in May 2023, the tent is easy and quick to setup, less than 10 minutes and you are done, the quality of tent material is fine, and it does what it says it does .. however, the legs are poorly made and the elastic holding the sections together has broken already on 1 leg section, this is very poor for this product and compared to regular camping tents, secondly the tags that hold the rolled up door are far too short or small, it is ridiculous how tight you have to roll the door section up so you can use the tags to hold it in place, these are just areas Ilford could do with improving its design ..
secondly, the delivery options offered by winter wonderland do not cover the value of the tent, this is a high-value item and should be sent out tracked and signed for by default. Royal Mail left this item on my doorstep for anyone to steal. and despite a call to Wonderland about this, no one has bothered to get in touch with me, its a feeble response and I worry about the service levels and after-sales care on display, Wonderland needs to take a step up with their responsibilities when dealing with higher value objects and sales orders, and lastly, the automated stock notice system is not working as it should do, I requested emails to be notified when this time was In stock, a number of times and received nothing, I have even had email conversations in the past about the availability of this item with a human and again no email from a human at wonderland was sent to say, we have stock would you like to buy ... a sub-par experience from start to finish this time ..
