My favourite film
Simply phenomenal! I love the flexibility of 400 ISO film especially when combined with fabulous punchy and accurate colour reproduction, fine detail and hardly any perceptible grain. I loved the 800 ISO version but like this one better. It is easy to use and every shot seems to come out perfectly. When I have used up these rolls I am buying some more!

Consistent quality
Honestly, you can't go wrong with Portra 400. You know that no matter what conditions you'll get some great results.
It has a cult following for a reason; it's flexible and dependable. Expensive, but worth it.

Dependable and consistent
For me the best all round colour negative film. Dependable results producing rich colours and good highlights.
took a roll for a spin to Prague as the weather left more to be desired and to nobody’s surprise Portra 400 really did deliver, you can’t tell me that these aren’t the crispiest, most beautifully coloured photos you ever did see. if I ever become a millionaire, I won’t tell anyone…but there will be signs, for example piles of Portra 400 in my fridge
