Classic Black and White film

Excellent film stock with stunning contrast producing proper blacks and manages to retain detail in both highlights and shadows. It is an iconic film stock which I found myself using for Portraits and street photography.

Like shaking hands with an old friend

I first came across Tri-X 400 in the 1960s working closely with photographers as a graphic designer. What always strikes me about this film is its consistency. It always makes the most most of any light conditions with its dramatic contrast and the distinction and clarity of its mid-tones. It's great that it's still available (thanks AW).

First time trying black & white

First go at shooting with black & white film. Really pleased with the initial results and the contrast in the scenes. It captures detail in a variety of lighting.

first time shooting this film, csn't believe I left it so long - really lovely grain & performs so well in both bright & low light; a classic.
