Although I'm a fan of Lady Grey this left me a bit underwhelmed. It seems to be very grainy for 100 ISO, quite low contrast and without the glorious mid-tones of its sister, with a tendency to "soot and whitewash". To be fair, when it's good it is quite good but in mixed seascape, architectural and town shooting the results left me quite cold based on the one roll I had success with (one exposure mess of a roll and one I forgot to rewind before opening the camera :( so the errors are on me!)

Really lovely and dynamic black and white film. Pretty good on bright days as you can get very deep blacks, having said that shadows can be quite murky but overall a good film to shoot

I used this roll on an overcast day in Glasgow, so probably not the best conditions for an ISO 100, but was happy with the results.
Dark, moody results that have a distinct feel.

Well I made the mistake of shooting this set for 400 iso light settings, not a game changer, with increased development times to compensate for the pushed stops, this photos came out with stunning contrasts and detail, will buy again and again until my better half questions my judgement

Really nice to work with, the contrast is not stark in the grey scale, murky greys, but lovely depth and darker warmth.

OK, this is Foma100 packaged by an independent. While it is the same emulsion, these indpendant companies add a great deal of interest to the film market, which must be good.

The film is very nice and stable. It isn't over contrasty so is easy to work with when scanned into lightroom. I like deep blacks and that is easy to add. Iam not a huge fan of the grain but it isn't obtrusive. Regarding processing, I did a prewash but the water came out clean (unlike the foma200) I then developed it in caffenol C-H (stock) at 20° as per massive dev.

For the price, even via an independent, this is excellent everyday film.

Nice and cheap film for beginners. Amazing for bright and sunny days. Nice contrast. I used that film in my lomography fisheye2 camera plus I developed myself. During developing film I experimented with time and temperature (because why not?). And I'm happy from results.

This was one of my first home developed films. Really liked it and all 3 rolls have shots I'm happy with. Sunny conditions will really help the film stand out and give it it's nice look.
Contrasty, and in the right conditions has a bold aesthetic. You get 3 films for £16 which is great! I bought more, waiting for the sun to return...

Great contrast and perfect for traveling. Shot mostly in sunny conditions. Doesn't handle under exposure so well as you can end up with muddy shadows, but great for general/street photography. Not a bad film to take on holiday

This is a great cheap black and white film. Its contrasty and dynamic and works great in strong daylight and equally well with even the unbalanced flash of a point and shoot. I was told in a Hungarian film lab that this is basically the same film emulsion as Fomopan 100 but I'm not sure whether that is true. Whatever it is, its an EU made, simple but effective low sensitivity all rounder that you shouldn't be disappointed with. It packs a bit more character than more refined films at this ISO but then again I'm the kind of guy that would take this over Fuji Acros any day.
