Kodak Winter Competition: Think Outside the Box Speed
By Paul McKay
It's that time of year: the nights are long, the weather flips hourly, and your expected lighting situation will have changed entirely from the time you pack your bag to arriving at your shooting location.
What is a film photographer to do? Always carry films to cover a total ISO range 25-3200? Pack a small studio's-worth of lighting kit? Give it up and wait for summer? Or...immerse themselves in the science and magic of pushing and pulling films!
Clearly we are gunning for the final option: so have worked with Kodak Alaris on a new Winter Competition to celebrate the fun of shooting film at different speeds: specifically their fantastic range of T-Max black and white film in 35mm and 120. (For more details on this analogue technique, read our guide to pushing/pulling film here)
At the same time - and to help you with the funds and confidence to experiment - we are running a 'buy-4-for-3' promotion on all Kodak T-Max films!
Think Outside The Box Speed - Competition
Head to this link to enter your pushed/pulled photos into our competition.
Theme: 'Think Outside The Box (Speed)' - interpret as you wish!
Film: any of the Kodak T-Max range
There will be two Grand Winners chosen by Kodak Alaris - with a big bundle of Kodak film as the prize. The link is open from now, multiple entries are highly encouraged, and you have until the 17th Feb to submit!
The competition is now CLOSED! Watch out on Instagram for future Winner announcements!
Kodak T-Max 4-for-3 Promotion!
If you add any four T-Max films to your basket then you will get the cheapest absolutely FREE!
Please note that this must end in line with the competition on the 17th Feb, it excludes the expired film, and it cannot be used in conjunction with other discount codes.
On the plus side ;-) there is no limit to the number of redemptions per customer! Either within one order or over several orders across the period of the competition.
If you have any questions - either about the competition, the promotion, or the mechanics of pushing/pulling film - then please give us a ring or drop us an email
You can also enjoy the winners of last year's Winter Competition (Low Light Magic) by heading to the winner announcement blog page.
Happy Shooting!
