The main difference is that Disposable cameras are only good for one roll of film (enclosed within the camera) and then they are thrown away after the film is extracted from them. Reloadable cameras are able to be used over and over again with any 35mm film you would like - all you have to do is buy the 35mm film for them.

Disposable cameras are brilliantly simple, but they're designed to be used once before the camera body is discarded. If you're looking for a more sustainable option, reloadable cameras can be used again and again - making them a great choice for events where cameras can be collected and re-used.

We've made our film developing service as easy as a simple, six-step process for you to follow.

Step 5: Order any images you'd like printed.

Step 6: Receive your prints back with your negatives.

On average we will have your scans back within a week, however during peak business periods or with particular processing requirements this timeframe can change.

Super easy! Send your films into our lab with free tracked shipping - or return items from a recent delivery from our store by going to your local post-office or arranging a collection.

For bulk orders, we offer a standard resolution option for 35mm scanning with our Noritsu scanners (Fuji Frontier scans are available on request)

Standard scans will be absolutely fine for posting on social media, personal websites, emailing to friends/family, and for making prints up to size A4. EXAMPLE FILE

Note: In the unlikely event that we are unable to use our Nortisu scanner to scan your film, we will need to use either our Fuji SP3000 or our DSLR scanning setup. This means the resolution of the scans may change.

After we have scanned your 35mm negatives in our scanners there are a couple of steps to make your photos perfect. Our goal is always to present your scans just as you saw the shot through the viewfinder - for bulk orders, we offer the 'Correct & Rotate' package - this level gives you an accurate representation of what was shot through the viewfinder and allows you to have the scans to do any additional editing, if you wish, yourself.

Our Correct & Rotate editing service ensures that the images you see are perfect for us straight away. Scanner corrections to density will be done as normal, and if we aren't happy at the final step (editing/quality control) then the film(s) will be sent back to scanning to be rescanned. 

The editing technician will then rotate all the images to their correct orientation, and perform any other minor tasks required to ensure you're getting what you expect every time. With this service, we will not perform any editing that will take the image away from what it should normally look like. When the team have perfected your scans then you'll get an email inviting you to view them in the 'My Photos' area of your customer account. You need to have made an account with a password - even if you haven't, the images will be safely stored there ready for you once you can log in.

You will be able to view and download all your images. You will also be able to select your favourites to print!

Simply click on all the images that you'd like to print, select size - quantity - finish, and add to your cart. See below for a simple illustration of the process.

The images will be sent back with your 35mm negatives. For more information head here.

It will usually say on the film canister (or box if you still have it!) - The two main types are C41 (colour) and Black & White.

Please note: Ilford XP2 is a black & white film that requires a C41 process.

When you purchase film development from Analogue Wonderland, your service price is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase.
