Amber 800 35mm film is a new project from Reto - the company making waves with their innovation in analogue cameras and film!
Amber 800 is a motion picture film that gives distinct colours and looks when used in different lighting conditions!
It is excellent for low-light situations and becomes a cool blue tone if shot in daylight. It can be processed in standard C-41 colour chemistry - available at most labs.
This film is 27 exposures and not DX-coded. However it ships with a DX code sticker inside the canister - so if you're using an automatic camera then please affix the sticker on the film cassette before loading.
Please note that this film has been adapted by hand so you may experience some light leaks or other colour effects on your photos - especially with the first couple of frames on each roll ✨

Great for Low Light, if a little Grainier
Nice alternative to Cinestill.
Good for low light/people who live in Scotland.
Can show a bit more grain than Kodak or Cinestill alternatives but is a good substitute if they are out of stock and is generally fun to use regardless.
Have used this a couple of times and have probably accidentally overexposed it more often than intended. Easily done but I put this down to my error rather than the films.
Nice to have a shorter roll of 800 iso film at 27 shots for shorter trips/shoots.

Midnight Film
Since it's 800 iso and tungsten balanced, it's pretty perfect for night setting photography. Pretty good.

For night owls
It's one more great film option for those who like shooting during the night. Lots of red hues and if you shoot during the day, it will be rather blue-ish. Definitely recommend.

Very vivid
And very cool. Perfect for some neon parties and bright places. Pretty good alternative to good old CineStill 800T.
Maybe it was just my experience but the film ended up having issues winding and when I took it to a specialist they said the film looks to have gone off/sticky. Was stored okay so not sure if a dud or just unlucky - the pictures that did come out looked very cool though.
