Kodak Gold 120

Used a roll of this with my Diana F+ medium format camera.
I absolutely loved the tone and quality of this film. Pictures have a beautiful warm colour to them. I mainly shot on clear skied days.

Will definitely purchase again.

Fantastic film, very flexible!

This film is great if you need to test a camera to see if it works, or to save something fun you see while out. It's cheap, reliable, and consistent, with pretty colours too! I personally use this film casually, but if you want professional looking pictures you're better off with Portra 400 or something a little fancier. Some of my pictures are a little experimental.

medium format Kodak Gold - 120 Film

This film is reasonably priced yet delivers high-quality results. I particularly enjoyed using it for double exposures, where its well-defined lines and vibrant color combinations truly shine.
In my experience, Kodak Gold performs best in daylight, especially on sunny days with clear blue skies. It thrives in strong color environments like sunrises, sunsets, and golden hour, as seen in the image below, which was shot on a bright, sunny day. While it can handle overcast conditions, it’s in these rich, dynamic lighting scenarios that it truly comes to life.
If you’re looking for a reliable, beginner-friendly medium format film that delivers stunning colors and romanticized imagery, Kodak Gold is an outstanding choice.
