Play with exposure! The blue and green nebulas are more visible in darker parts than in brighter areas of the photo.

Take pictures of your friends and they will look as if they were lost in space or showered with stardust...

Novelty fun

I tried shooting in a few different light levels and got varying levels of the Nebula. The results were what I expected from the sample shots. If I was using it again I would.go with a camera with less powerful flash to get more underexposed areas

I was really pleased to see lots of effects across my pictures using this film - the green and blue 'nebulas' do seem to show up better on darker colours but it's fun to experiment and see what creative shots you can come up with. I liked this film a lot and would use it again for fun and abstract pictures.

Quirky and fun

Loved having a play with this film, I found I prefer it in darker environments so the nebula looks more prominent, I love the randomness of the pattern and the excitement of not knowing what you will get until you see the final product. Great for fun snapping when out and about and for when your results can afford to be a little off the wall. Obviously not for when you want clean cut precision but great for some fun shooting. Good colour range in the film and nice fine grain too. Developed in Bellini C41 kit, shot at box speed. Looking forward to trying streak out next.

Experiment and Enjoy

The advantage of Revolog Nebula is that you are not quite sure what will work, what does not and what exactly you will get in the end. for me this adds to the anticipation of developing. However, it you crave certainty and repeatability this is not one for you.

The star like nebula are best in the areas which are underexposed, they tend to be drowned out by bright patches. That not to say you don't get the odd spot, but just not a full-on nebula. Once you know this it makes a fun film to shoot as you think of appropriate setting which will give a good mix of dark and light.
