Wound your film back too far? It happens to us all! That's why ADOX have created the ADOX 35mm Film Picker / Retriever.
A quality film retriever is an essential tool for those moments when you've accidentally wound a film all the way back into its canister before it's finished!
Simple and light, a life-saver to keep close at hand when you're out in the field. It is also useful for home development when you want to pull out an exposed reel (in darkness) without having to crack open the canister.
Instructions for use:
- Place A and B sliders into the starting position, with the tips of all the sliders inside the canister.
- Move slider A all the way up into the film cartridge, with slider B staying down.
- Slowly turn the film spool, until a "click" sound. Stop immediately after the "click".
- Move slider B up into the Film cartridge.
- Firmly pull the canister off the retriever, and the film will come out.
Please note that the film retriever model in the below video is slightly different to those available for sale - but the principle and technique is the same.
