Striking

Such an extreme contrast! Has an excellent shadow play and goes between pitch darkness or stark whiteness. Very cinematic and at times harsh, yet such playful film. Can see where the money goes to! Would buy it again.

Film Ferrania P33

I can see in P33 a clear relationship to P30. Sharing its depth and contrast but with a more forgiving latitude and practical ISO. I've shot 3 rolls and love it, for sure.

Perfect fit for my half frame

I’ve been experimenting with new films with a new (to me) Olympus Pen EE. I was a bit worried about losing detail in the scans coming back. Im very impressed with this film, it hasn’t lost as much detail as I was expecting, it’s got great contrast and delivers in sunny and overcast conditions. I’m a big fan of the level of grain too. I’ll definitely be using it again and can’t wait to use it on a full 35mm camera.

La Dolce Silver

Wow! Ferrania have done it again and after shooting the P33 in everything from Scottish sunshine (yes, really!) to Dorset rain to London nights this is definitely five star stuff. Rich punchy tones and that Fellini film still vibe as well. The contrast needs care in bright conditions, but P33 responds very well to Pyro and this is also a great developer for controlling the highlights. If you loved P30, then this is one for you, and a useful one stop faster too.

Truly AMAZING!!

Oh YES ...this really is an amazing film with fantastic mid tones. I shot my first roll at box speed of 160 iso, and developed it in Rodinal 1+25 for 5 mins at 20°C, and the results are just beautiful!
I've just ordered another 3 rolls, it's THAT GOOD!!
